Hymns Illustrated strives to produce Christ and Gospel centered resources that promote a biblical worldview. We agree with this statement of faith.  

(Hymn)eneutics* is a nod to the term hermeneutics which refers to "the methodical interpretation of Scripture." Just like interpretation methods help us understand Scripture better, hymn study methods help us appreciate hymns better. 

(Hymn)eneutics is a methodical approach to hymn study which includes 5 Rs: Read, Relate, Reflect, Respond and Remember. 

Every resource Hymns Illustrated produces helps you apply one or more of these 5 Rs.

You'll be notified by email each time a new episode and resource is available inside your membership. These are typically dropped by the first of each month.

While refunds for previous months aren't available, you may cancel your membership at any time by going into your online account settings and cancelling there. Your payments will then be stopped and your access to the Hymns Illustrated Membership library will be removed. You will lose access to any special pricing offer you currently hold but will be more than welcome to join again at another time at the current member price or special offer.

You will be charged at the time of joining and then every month (on your start/anchor day) after that. For example, if you join on the 2nd of the month, you will always be billed on the 2nd.

If a month doesn’t have the anchor day which started your membership, the subscription will be billed on the last day of the month. For example, a subscription starting on January 31 bills on February 28 (or February 29 in a leap year), then March 31, April 30, and so on.

If you joined with a $1 trial, all this still applies -- only the amount changes. You will be charged $1 at the time of joining and then your member rate each subsequent month.
